 DAVID SOBON



David Sobon has consulted with hundreds of foundations, non-profits, service and religious groups around the country to help them fulfill their fundraising goals. In his 22 years of assisting non-profits, he has had the opportunity to consult with organizations such as American Leadership Forum, Susan G. Komen, The Sacramento Library Foundation, Leukemia Lymphoma Society, and a variety of Chambers of Commerce, art organizations and children’s charities.
David Sobon is an active member of The Association of Fundraising Professionals and a part of their teaching faculty. As a member of The National Auctioneers Association, he earned the title of Benefit Auction Specialists. He also the president of the board of directors for the Chevo Fund. David’s contributions are felt throughout the community.
David’s fresh and innovative ideas have given way to great and exciting events. It is David’s unique “Benefit Auction System” that helps organizations raise more money and have more fun while changing the lives of those they serve. David says, “There is no better feeling than coming off the stage knowing you made a difference”.




JOEY O'SHEA



Joey O’shea is the Director of Operations for David Sobon Auctions. He is from Villa Park, California. He was born and raised in Orange County, California, 25 years old Joey O’Shea attended Villa Park High School and later Saddleback College. Where he studied Interior Design and Business. After a few months of soul searching Joey moved to Sacramento in February 2010. Working for DSA has really helped him connect with many people in the non-profit industry.
In 3 years since he moved to Sacramento Joey immersed himself in the community volunteering his time for organizations such as Gay & Lesbian Center, Trevor Project, Equality Action Now, Rainbow Chamber Foundation, American Heart Association, SACTO, Sacramento Film Festival, PHEF, Sacramento Ballet, SCA, CARH, Weave, SPCA, Lambda Players and The Rainbow Chamber of Commerce. He is also on the board of directors for the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce and has started his own non-profit Equal Youth Services.



Pat Hume

 

Patrick Hume is a 
raconteur of the First Order. In addition to serving on the Elk Grove City Council and holding down a day job, he dedicates his time,talent and treasure to many local schools, churches and non-profits. Beyond his actual academic pursuits, Pat is a graduate of the Western College of Auctioneering, an accomplished public speaker and versatile emcee. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife discovering new places and experiences.

Brett Freeman



Brett Freeman currently acts as Executive Director for The Sacramento World Music & Dance Festival. It helps provide our region with a free festive opportunity to travel past tolerance  and toward appreciations of one another's positive expressions. Brett has worked as an actor, a model and he is now thriving in the wide world of arts, entertainment, festivals and is known as the upcycling visual artist "bfree!", creating colorful abstract multimedia pieces. In addition to his work with David Sobon Auctions, Brett enjoys voiceover production with ADFARE.com and MC gigs for many local events, like Eppie's Great Race.
